No one knows the original person who thought up the collars, but a group of scientists crafted it into two styles for each immortal species. Both collars designed to nullify each immortals power to the strength and stature of a normal human, rendering them helpless.

The standard collar that every slaved immortal would get, no matter who owned them, had one setting and that was to nullify any special talents that the immortals had to render them helpless.

Other collars were soon made to allow different levels of aggression, power and so forth for many different purposes. This collar was requested since people started to use their immortals as guards as well as enter them into fights.

I should've had something like this up before I opened but I forgot.
